All participants are required to fax the registration form before May 26, to +351 217500084. The organisation may not be able to provide rooms for registrations received after this date. Registration is by invitation only.
The organisation may arrange transportation between the airport and Sintra if justified by the number of participants arriving in a short interval of time. Updates on this issue will be sent by e-mail to the interested participants and published on this page.
The workshop is expected to start in the morning of July 2, and finish in the afternoon of July 3. Recommended dates for check in and check out are respectively July, 1-4.
Participants will be reimbursed according to the ESF guidelines described in the last page of the "Guidelines for Proposers and Organisers of Science Meetings within a Programme" document. As usual, Steering Committee members will be directly reimbursed by the ESF.
Payments will be made by Fundação da Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa by bank transfer after reception of an expenses claim form to be provided during the workshop. Invoices will be required for all expenses (e.g. meals, taxi). Public transports (bus, train) tickets are acceptable.
Important Remarks (for non-steering committee members)
- Portuguese accounting rules mandate that all named invoices (in particular, invoices for airline tickets) must state the name of the participant and of the paying institution. That is, the invoice must be addressed to Participant name - Fundação da FCUL. NIF: 503183504 (omitting the cedilla and tilde is ok). Note that we will not be able to reimburse you if the above is not satisfied.
- The organisation has arranged with a travel agency to issue e-tickets for the participants. The travel agency will be reimbursed directly by the organisation so that the participants do not need to worry with the constraints above. We recommend that you make your reservations in this way.
